Today, it was revealed that popular group Hey! Say! JUMP’s 8th single “Magic Power” (released on the September 21st) sold 218,000 copies in its first week and topped Oricon’s Weekly Single Ranking for the week of October 3rd.
This is their eight consecutive single to top the Oricon Charts since their debut song, “Ultra Music Power
(released back in November 2007). This is also their second consecutive single to sell over 200,000 copies for its first week since their previous single, “OVER” (sold 265,000 for its first week, released back in June 29th).
Their latest single was the Japanese single for American animation movie “The Smurfs” featuring the voices of member Yamada Ryosuke (18) and Chinen Yuuri (17).
As for other member activities, Yaotome Hikaru (20) will be releasing a new album along with his fictional band “A.N.JELL” from his starring drama “Ikemen Desu ne” under the title “A.N.JELL WITH TBS Friday Drama ‘Ikemen Desu ne’ MUSIC COLLECTION” on the 5th of October.

 Yeah, I think their song is good. Good job Ryo kyaaa... >.<
