Actresses Shida Mirai and Kawaguchi Haruna will star in a new horror movie, titled “POV ~Norowareta Film“, directed by master of Japanese horror, Tsuruta Norio. This will be Shida and Kawaguchi’s second time co-starring together, with their first being LISMO’s drama “Koiiro Waltz“.
The movie is a horror documentary that features actual experiences from the cast and program officials. Set at Kawaguchi’s junior high school, the story starts where the two are recording a program for mobile phones. Shida expressed, “I’ve never experienced anything more frightening than this.
This is the first time that both actresses will appear in something horror related. Shida commented, “I don’t think I’ll ever forget that experience even if I become an adult. I’m worried because everyone will see this in a movie form.” She also showed her ‘bond’ with Kawaguchi saying, “If I was alone, I would’ve been scared and ran away. As Kawaguchi-san and I combined our power, we were able to overcome it.
Meanwhile, Kawaguchi stated in fear, “I didn’t think my careless remarks would turn out like that. When I think about it now, it’s terrifying. I don’t want to think about it anymore.“ She continued, “I don’t know what would’ve happened if Mirai-san wasn’t there.
“POV ~Norowareta Film” is scheduled to hit theatres on February 18th of next year.
